Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambore National Park is situated in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest and the most crowded national park in the entire North India. Ranthambore National Park is around 130 km away from Jaipur and you can easily reach here by hiring a taxi or travelling on your own. Once upon a time this place used to be a recreational and animal hunting ground for the Maharajas of Jaipur, but today it is a national Park which is the home for many animal species. Spread across sprawling 392 sq km, Ranthombore National Park shares its neighbourhood with Mansingh Sanctuary as well as the Kaila Devi Sanctuary. Ranthambore National Park is famous for its tigers and you can easily spot tigers who come out during the day to hunt and keeping an eye on the cubs. Another fact about Ranthambore is that it is considered as a heritage site too mainly because of the pictorial ruins that you will see while going for a tiger view experience. The time you will spend here in Ranthambore is simply breath-taking.
