Day 01: Arrive Delhi:
End of Program/ Services Check In/ Out at all hotels as 12 Noon
Arrive in Delhi, India. Upon arrival in the capital of India – Delhi, Limra Hospitality representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you. After a traditional welcome with flower garland and Tilak at the hotel reception you will check into your hotel room. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure or in your own individual activities. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Full day guided city tour of Old and New Delhi.
AM: The neo-classical architecture of the elegant garden city of New Delhi offers a remarkable contrast to the ancient, twisting lanes that surround Chandni-Chowk in the Old City, keeping alive the famous arts and handicrafts of Delhi. At Hauz Khas, thousand-year old fortifications go hand in hand with a lively Indian village replete with wandering cows and goats.The ancient houses behind the fort walls are home for the local villagers as well as a range of avant-garde boutiques, art galleries and superb restaurants.
PM: Guided city tour of Old Delhi. Today, we will explore the magnificent Red Fort, built at the zennith of the Mughal empire in India. The centuries-old international market-place that sprawls at its feet is still one of Delhi's most important commercial hubs: Chandni Chowk, or "Moonlight Square". We shall ride on cycle-rickshaws through the bustling silver market and the wholesale spice market. The sounds, smells and colors of the bazaar, and the throngs of people who animate it makes this an unforgettable spectacle. Our last stop in Old Delhi shall be the elegant Jumma Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia.
Day 03 : Drive Delhi - Agra 200 Kms
AM: After breakfast at hotel in Delhi. Check out from the hotel and board our mini van for a 04/5 hours drive to Agra. In between we will have a small halt for tea/coffee. Or Transfer to New Delhi Railway station to boar train Shatabdi Express to Agra. Met upon arrival in Agra and transfer to hotel. Upon arrival in Agra check into hotel . After wash and change proceed for the guided tour of Taj Mahal and Red fort.
IMP: TAJ MAHAL IS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS
At Agra, in addition to several other exquisite monuments, the Mogul Emperor Shah Jehan presented the world it's most magnificent monument to conjugal Love. A colossal, perfectly proportioned mass of marble, the Taj Mahal is literally a jewel. It was fashioned over 17 years by 20,000 craftsmen & laborers. From a distance, it seems to float, like a fantastic mirage, upon the banks of the River Yamuna.
Day4: Agra-Ranthambore
After breakfast, Drive to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Arrival and transfer to the resort. Enjoy an afternoon Jeep Safari inside the reserve. Evening free at the resort. Relax at the resort or watch some interesting slides on the tiger. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 05: Ranthambore Tiger National Park
Enjoy a full day of game viewing (Two Safaris - Morning and Evening Safari) inside the lush forests of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Ranthambore is one of the finest tiger reserves of India and considered the best place to spot a tiger in his own natural habitat. The park is also popular with the wildlife photographers. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 06 Ranthambore Tiger National Park– Jaipur
Enjoy an early morning Jeep Safari to explore the rich flora and fauna of the Ranthambore National Park and see the majestic tigers in their own natural environment. Later, we drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan (156 km- 4 Hrs). Arrive at Jaipur and check in to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Relax at the hotel or explore the 'Pink City' as Jaipur is popularly known. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur
After breakfast Proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.
AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.
Book now CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Jaipur-Delhi
Today you shall have a complete tour of Jaipur (The pink city of Indian(Rajasthan)) After breakfast you leave for an excursion trip to Amer fort. A Joy ride onelephants Back up to the Fort is real fun. Amer fort built in the 17thcentury; the Palace is a distinguished specimen of Rajput architecture. Day 09: Delhi - Cochin by Flight
Arrive Cochin and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon proceed for city tour of Cochin which includes Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace etc. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : Cochin - Munnar
After Breakfast Drive to Munnar (approx.4 hours journey), enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by.
Arrive Munnar and check in at hotel. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. 1600 meter above sea level this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in the blue every twelve years, will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi, which towers over 2695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 11: Munnar
Morning proceed for Munnar sightseeing after breakfast. Move through the tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers. Lush green hills all around - a place difficult to describe. Very low population and moved away from the city pollution makes Munnar a special destination.
Sightseeing includes Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Muttuputty dam and the Indo Swiss project. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 12: Munnar - Thekkady
After Breakfast Drive to Thekkady - Drive through tea estates, spice gardens and wild forests. Arrive Thekkady after a memorable drive of approx. 4 hours. Check in at hotel. In the evening visit Kumily market to buy the best spices available. Overnight at Thekkady.
Day 13: Thekkady - Kumarokom
After Breakfast Drive to Kumarakom. Arrive at Kumarakom, after a journey of approx. 5 hours enjoying the beauty of the traditional Keralian houses.
An enchanting backwater destination, Kumarokom offers visitors many other leisure options. Boating and fishing facilities are available at Kumarokom. Day 15: Kumarokom - Kovalam
After Breakfast Drive to Kovalam, the international beach Resort with full of Coconut trees. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful Bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. Day 16: Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Day excursion. Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion to Kanyakumari, Enroute visit Padmanabha puram Palace and Suchindram Temple. At Kanykumari visit Vivekanada rock. Drive back to Kovalam in the evening.
Day 17: Kovalam - Tivandrum - Delhi
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight for onward journey.
